Biography

Rod is a certified chef de cuisine, certified food service nutrition manager and certified sommelier. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate degree (Hon.) in hospitality management from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). He is also a graduate of culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America. Rod brings extensive expertise to West Coast with previous experience working with Walt Disney World and Hyatt Hotel. Rod’s focus is on team development, guest experiences, revenue and budget management. He is a passionate professional who loves providing great culinary experiences for residents and empowering his team through coaching. When not at work, Rod loves spending time with his family and serving his community.
