We are an industry leader with over 35 years of direct experience developing, managing and supporting vibrant seniors communities and a growing portfolio of retirement homes under management.

West Coast was established in 1988 to manage its growing Retirement Concepts portfolio of seniors communities. From 1988 to 2017, West Coast helped grow Retirement Concepts from a single property into one of British Columbia’s most prominent privately owned seniors housing and residential care portfolios. In 2017, Retirement Concepts was sold, while West Coast was retained to manage its operations.

West Coast’s founders were—and remain—industry innovators, developing and managing seniors housing based on the visionary care philosophies of “Age in Place” and “Communities of Care.” These philosophies remain foundational to the care we offer every day.
