Barry is a senior operations executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in retirement living, assisted living, long-term care communities and regional multi-site operations across both unionized and non-unionized environments.

Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, people-centred leadership, and a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors, families, and employees.

A graduate of the University of Victoria, Barry believes that successful organizations are built on four key pillars: staff engagement, customer satisfaction, financial accountability, and community growth. His leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, service excellence, operational integrity, and the development of strong workplace cultures.

In addition to his professional career, Barry is an active volunteer lieutenant and first responder with the Sidney Fire Department. He holds multiple emergency response certifications, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community service and public safety.
