Rebecca is passionate about education as a foundation for building exceptional leaders. Her responsibilities include serving and supporting our communities with best practices and new initiatives while cultivating a positive and collaborative team environment. Her areas of expertise include critical, acute, and home hemodialysis, long-term care, acute stroke and acute medical & clinical informatics. Rebecca’s accomplishments include nephrology certification, medical research certification as well as a quality improvement in patient safety program. She received her BSc in Nursing with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition to her duties at West Coast, Rebecca is also a teacher at BCIT. Rebecca is an avid off-grid camper who enjoys spending time with her toddler and two mischievous wiener dogs.
